  We were looking for a fun family activity to do in Lefkada and we found a stand up paddle boarding introductory session with Periplous Experience on TripAdvisor.

Yiannis was… read more our instructor and he got us on paddle boards in the water virtually straight away. During the 2½ session he taught us the basics of paddle boarding through demonstrations and games.

Once we’d mastered the basics, we went paddle boarding around the coastline to a small and secluded beach, before heading off again to investigate a cave further on.

When it was time to head back, our youngest (age 9) was getting quite tired out, so Yiannis let her ride on his paddle board while towing hers behind.

All in all, a really fun activity for the family which I’d definitely recommend (although I’m going to be feeling it tomorrow ).

  The best way to end our holiday! My boyfriend and I had a blast on our first-ever kayak tour.

Our guide, Yiannis, was fantastic. He was not only knowledgeable… read more about the area but also super friendly. He was explaining things clearly and keeping us entertained the whole time. We felt safe and well-cared for throughout the entire adventure.

First up, we checked out a hidden blue cave, which was actually a bat cave. We went snorkeling there, and the water was this stunning vibrant blue.

After that, we hit a beach for lunch and more snorkeling. We got to see these bright red starfish.

We then paddled across the bay to another beach, where we did some more snorkeling, this time to see yellow corals. Plus, we had some refreshing fruit to snack on.

On our way back, near the last beach, we stumbled upon another cave, but this one was home to pigeons.

We had zero experience with kayaking, but thanks to our guide’s clear instructions, we did surprisingly well. It was an awesome adventure that let us explore the beauty of Lefkada’s coastline and experience some cool underwater sights. Definitely a trip we’ll remember!

Although I was a bit stressed, as it was my first time on a SUP,… read more I managed to paddle standing up more than 5 km in Rounda bay. Yiannis is a great instructor, very patient and has very good teaching skills. He gives you confidence and makes you feel safe. He also told stories about Greek Ionian islands and brought snacks, tea and lunch (pasta with tomatoes and cheese). The SUP tour included 3 breaks on hidden beaches and one remote beach absolutely beautiful. You can bring your snorkeling gear and swim to see beautiful colored fish and yellow corals. Great experience, absolutely recommended, even if you haven’t tried it before.
